A series-A startup from Berlin came for a four-day strategy off-site. The team had been remote-first for two years and this was the first time all 14 were physically together. Days were structured: 9-12 plenary in the co-working space, 12-2 long lunch, 2-5 breakouts in the tent rooms, 5-7 sauna/free time, 7+ dinner in the yurt. Wednesday was an outdoor day — the Otsinari lake jeep tour for the morning, then a strategy retro around the bonfire that night. The team's CEO told us afterwards that the off-site shipped more decisions in four days than the previous quarter had. The two cohorts that came back for follow-up off-sites in 2025 both started here.
